Photograph Notes: While sitting in a chair, this
adult red fox ran by in front of me no more than four feet away. We were
both quite surprised but I recovered and snapped this picture just a few
seconds later. By this time, he was
no more than twenty
feet away from me. He seemed to be curious and was waiting to see what I'd
do before he sauntered on back to his burrow. Yes - this red fox is
actually colored black. Read some
