Notes on our family history. Currently, this section includes pages on the history of the Ragen and Munk families; some of the information is autobiographical and other pages are the result of original research. This section includes the complete memoirs, My Century and My Many Lives, of my grandfather, Frank Munk.
	Notes on wines, wineries and grapes. Good wine has become one of our passions. We would like to share our thoughts on some of our 'keepers' as well as some of our favorite Internet wine stores and websites and wine books. We also describe the establishment of our backyard vineyard.
	Recommended book lists are largely based on our current book reading lists as well as other life-long interests such as wine tasting, mountain climbing and outdoor adventures, science fiction, and more.
	Wildlife and nature photos: Over the last few years, we've taken some pretty good digital wildlife pictures from the San Juan Islands including photos of bald eagles and killer whales. We also have pictures of red foxes, black-tailed deer, river otters, turkey vultures, seals, seagulls and other wildlife. We've also just added an online gallery to purchase the best of our photos.
	Miscellaneous topics of interest to us in our professional lives. These include various papers that we have written, within our communities such as various organizations that we are involved with and other hobbies that we enjoy such as boomerangs, kites and more.

	Winners for most of the major mountain climbing and adventure book awards have been named for 2002. We have updated our lists for these awards. (Updated in October.) 2003 Boardman-Tasker Memorial Award Winners  have been announced 2003 Banff Mountain Book Festival Winners have been announced
	In addition, we have updated our list of books and other items ordered via our website through December of 2003.

	New pictures of bald eagles including some very close shots of a 1-year old juvenile. (Updated in July, 2004.)
	We have just added several new pictures of harbor seals. (New in March, 2004.)
	We have various landscape pictures, including some nifty lightning pictures from a thunder and lightning storm in central Oregon.
	We have a number of red fox photos from San Juan Island.
	Our killer whale photos showcase some of the resident orca pods from the San Juan orca families.
	For the best of our photos, we now offer the ability to purchase them via our stock photography page. A small number have also been converted into pen and ink drawings too.

	Washington State Red Wines. As part of our semi-regular tasting group, we tasted eleven (!!) wines from the eastern half of Washington State. (New in March.)
	We planted Sunbreak Cellars, our backyard vineyard, in 2003. Read about the steps we took to get it started. (New in May.)

	We have also added a new wine tasting survey to give us an improved scoring mechanism.
